Debt consolidation seem to be very attractive for a lot of people. For most people, depending on the situation, it seem to make sense to use one but not everyone should use one. For example, people with good credit. It is unnecessary for them since their credit is good enough to get great deals from different things such as getting a house or a car. Other people that should not consider using such services would be people that doesn't make much money, are unable to pay off their bills and file bankruptcy and people that keep borrowing money for their own material consumption such as buying clothes, furniture, and anything where it can mess up their credit more. You have to realize it is a temporary fix which is not a long term solution. People that uses their credit cards a lot should stay away from this since their job is to help you with your financial mess for a short time and help with talking to them about lowering your payment. Credit cards should only be used for rare moments of emergency such as making some payments to such as making a car payment if no other option but not for other material possessions like buying stuff at garage sales. Credit cards have such high interest after the introductory offer is over which is usually 6 months from after signing up and getting accepted. The people that should consider using one would like to get out of the current financial mess but know how to keep themselves out by making payments on time and keeping track of what bills are due. As long as the person is very responsible with their financial area should be able to take advantage of it since they would like to change their life for the better. This would apply to only responsible people with very bad debt in their past but was unable to borrow more money to try to get out of it. Save more money of what you make instead of spending all of the money. Save as much as you can after paying your bills and in time, you would not need to use their services at all.
